South Bay Adult Home & Assisted Living Program

Tucked away on the south shore’s waterfront, South Bay’s estate-like setting overlooks the Great South Bay. We are family owned since 1975 and licensed by the New York State Department of Health.

Our home is situated on three beautifully landscaped acres. The picturesque grounds and our intimate size create a comfortable home–like atmosphere. That is precisely what we strive for since South Bay embodies the very definition of the word “home.” Home means a social unit formed by a “family” living together and it has always been our philosophy to regard each resident as a member of our own family. South Bay offers a warm, personal environment to enhance the quality of living out your golden years as if you never left the comfort of your own home. However, you will enjoy the benefits of twenty-four-hour loving care and the freedom from housekeeping chores and worries. There is no need to shop, cook, or clean and because of our intimate size, you may also reap the benefits of more individualized care.

We welcome those requiring special care or just a little extra Tender Loving Care. Our small size enables staff and residents to interact daily on a personal level which allows the residents to make the most of each day.

We provide a warm, social atmosphere where you are in the company of others with mutual interests and are rewarded with the positive joys of making new friends. You will never feel alone because you will always have someone to talk to – someone who cares. In addition to our family-like environment, we also provide daily recreational activities. The diversified program of social, cultural, physical and intellectual activities is designed to sustain and promote and individual’s potential and a sense of usefulness to self and others.

Good nutrition plays an integral role in promoting and maintaining the optimal health of our residents. Three delicious home-cooked meals are served daily in our country-style dining room. We also offer alternate meals to accommodate the individual likes and dislikes of our small population.
